SuperHERoes are everywhere.
The idea of this book series, began with a simple blog challenge I took up 8 years ago – 30 days 30 amazing Muslim women from history. I was expecting my first-born, a girl and feeling very ambitious, excited and nervous about bringing a SHEro into this world. The blog turned out to be a force that allowed me to re-align my thoughts, and desires for raising her and her siblings to come.
I soon realized that many other parents around the world were interested in learning more about Muslim SHEroes and addressing the stereotypes against women and especially Muslim women. A children’s book series is the culmination of my intention to make historical characters simple to read, understand love by the little ones who aspire to be community leaders, change-makers and inspiring leaders around the world.
